# Corrections and re-checks

Homeowners can report a problem with a listed business. Businesses can ask for a result to be re-checked. Every change to a published status is noted with the date.

§1

## Report a problem or a wrong fact

If it touches a requirement (a wrong address, a phone that doesn't answer, a website that isn't theirs) we re-check that requirement and publish the result. We can't settle disputes about workmanship or money.

## Ask for a re-check (businesses)

Send the evidence for the requirement you think was marked wrongly. The requirement is checked again, and the result and date are updated on your record.

## What we can and can't do

### We can

- Re-check any requirement
- Correct facts on a record
- Remove a status that is no longer met

### We can't

- Judge workmanship or price
- Settle contract or payment disputes
- Remove accurate information for payment

## Pass or fail, never paid

## No rankings

Businesses that meet a standard are listed A to Z. We don't rank them against each other, and nobody can pay to move up a list. Paid enhanced profiles are labelled.
